From Article X, Sec. 4 of the LWVDC Bylaws:
A Civic Learning and Advocacy Commiittee shall be appointed by the Board of Directors at the first Board meeting of the fiscal year. The committee shall consist of at least five members, including a minimum of two directors, and shall include at least one member of each subcommittee. The duties of the committee shall be to oversee all LWVDC activities in program, citizen education, and services to the public, and to recommend program priorities for Board consideration. The committee and/or appropriate subcommittees shall be responsible for carrying out these duties.
