For 2013–2014, the following Study and Action Committees are active.

Community Outreach: Establish contacts with grassroots organizations in low voter-turnout communities to increase awareness of local issues and of how to influence outcomes; partner with other organizations of color.

Education: Study and advocate education issues at the local level.

International Relations: Participate in the LWVDC's Great Decisions discussion group on foreign policy issues.

Sustainability: Study and encourage practices and policies that promote environmental sustainability.

Transportation and Land Use: Study and advocate public policy and goals on a local, state, and national basis.
