League Communications and Publicity
Our Communications team is tasked with promoting the League’s activities among members and the general public and to grow awareness of the League’s expertise in the areas of voter education and engagement and value as community partners. This informal team is made up of members with enthusiasm and experience in areas such as social media, website design and content management, email marketing, and public relations, as well as strategy and best practices. Recent projects include a working group who crafted, reviewed, and approved a set of Editorial and Publication Guidelines to make communications more consistent and on brand, and to make this work easier and more efficient for all our volunteers.

Photography Policy for Volunteers
Photos taken by the League of Women Voters of Dane County (LWVDC) are property of that League. Please be mindful of photographing people and getting the proper permissions. Notice of photography is best for taping up around an area at an event. Photo release forms are best for individual portrait photography/video, and should be kept on file for three years. If permission of the photo subjects has been obtained or the notices have been posted at an event where you took pictures, Leagues are free to share their images with other Leagues.
