Board Matters

The nominations season for the 2025-2026 LWVDC Board of Directors has opened! 

The League of Women Voters of Dane County is a strong and stable organization that has stood as a bulwark for democracy for 104 years because, every year, new leaders step forward to help move the organization forward. Perhaps now is the time for you to bring your experiences and skills to the board! As a member of the leadership team you will have the chance to put your skills to work, while leading us into the future.

The 2025-2026 open Board positions include two officer positions and three director positions: Vice President-Operations, Treasurer, Director of Voter Service, and two Director-At-Large positions. In addition we are recruiting for a Nominations Committee Chair and two Nominating Committee Members.  You can read the position descriptions here.

The Nominating Committee is accepting nominations now through February 28 using a very simple Nominations Form. Please consider nominating yourself or another League member for any of the positions open for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025. The Nominating Committee will review information on all nominees, will be speaking with every nominee and then recommend a slate of candidates for members to vote on at this year’s Annual Meeting.
